Laura Spalvieri
FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL THERAPIST – THE LIFE STUDIO PSYCHOTHERAPY, SINGAPORE
Laura is a registered counsellor and clinical member of the Singapore Association for Counselling, with extensive training in integrative psychotherapy, clinical hypnotherapy, and supervision. She has worked with individuals, couples, and families across cultures, always aiming to provide inclusive and compassionate care; offering support for a broad spectrum of emotional and psychological challenges, with a particular focus on trauma therapy, relationships (with self and others) family and couples counselling, as well as parenting support.
Trained in different therapeutic approaches, among which Schema Therapy (Level 2) and MEMI (Multi Channel Eye Movement Integration), which she integrates with other evidence-based approaches to help clients process past wounds, shift unhelpful patterns, and reconnect with their sense of agency and emotional balance to pursue growth and healing.
At the core of her work is the creation of a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space, where clients feel truly seen and supported. While always respectful and gentle, Laura’s approach is also purposeful, she works collaboratively with clients to bring about meaningful change, emotional healing, and sustainable progress.
She believes in the strength and wisdom each person carries within, and is deeply committed to walking alongside her clients as they reconnect with that inner resource. A lifelong learner, Laura regularly engages in professional development, ensuring that her work remains current, ethical, and impactful.
At The Life Studio, integrative psychotherapy isn’t just about combining techniques. It’s a guiding philosophy that honours each person’s uniqueness and needs—emotional, relational, and psychological. Instead of a fixed method, we shape the process with flexibility and care, staying deeply attuned to you and your journey.
